Hi,

Project that have 'gnu' in their name are officially part of the GNU project. Maybe 'persian_c'?

Hi,

I am ready to approve your project.

Can you tell me what new "system name" you'd like for your project?

I'm sorry for bothering both of you. It was my fault not to read any comments of it....

Hi,
I'm evaluating the project you submitted for approval in Savannah.

Please include a (perhaps temporary) URL pointing to the source code.
The description you gave when registering will not be read by the general public.
If you are still concerned with privacy, however, you can forward the code to me by email.

We wish to review your source code, even if it is not functional, to catch potential legal issues early.

For example, to release your program properly under the GPL you must include a copyright notice and
permission-to-copy statements at the beginning of every file of source code.  This is explained in
http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-howto.html.  Our review would help catch potential omissions such as these.

Regards,
the Savannah Administration Team

Hi,

I don't see trace of copyright and license notices in your new version.

Besides, it looks like, but I may be mistaken, that you are using MS Word to create that document. Given the poor quality of the resulting HTML code, this can arguably be considered as an Opaque Copy as per the GFDL definition. You need to distribute the preferred format for modifying your work, not a derivate format. And of course, we would like you to use free software to create your manual.

So we need:
- addition of GFDL copyright and license notices
- the documentation in its original format
- that the original format be perfectly editable with free software

Feel free to ask any question you have on those points.

Regards.

Hi,

I'm evaluating the project you submitted for approval in Savannah :)

In order to release your project properly and unambiguously under the GFDL, please place copyright notices and permission-to-copy statements after the title page of each work.

In addition, if you haven't already, please add a copy of the FDL (available from http://www.gnu.org/licenses/fdl.html in various formats) as a section of your works.

For more information, see http://www.gnu.org/licenses/fdl.html#SEC4

http://www.gnu.org/licenses/fdl-howto.html also covers additional points, including a smaller notice that you can use in auxiliary files.

Can you also provide another system name? This is the name that our system will use to identify your project (eg. the name of the cvs repository, of the *.nongnu.org subdomain, etc.)

If you are willing to make the changes mentioned above, please provide us with an URL to an updated tarball of your project.  Upon review, we will reconsider your project for inclusion in Savannah.

To help us better keep track of your registration, please use the tracker's web interface following the link below. Do not reply directly, the registration process is not driven by e-mail, and we will not receive such replies.

Regards.
