I have deleted the screenshots since they do not belong to the actual software. The GPL is included in COPYING. I refer to that from README.

Is there still something wrong !?

Hello.

If some of your files cannot carry such notices (e.g. the screenshots), then you can add a README file in the same directory containing the copyright and license notices. Check
http://www.gnu.org/prep/maintain/html_node/Copyright-Notices.html for further information.

The GPL FAQ explains why these procedures must be followed. To learn why a copy of the GPL must be included with every copy of the code, for example,
see http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-faq.html#WhyMustIInclude.

Sorry, that was unprecise. I havent found a "homepage" for perl-tk, but
I hope, the debian-project page is sufficient:

http://packages.debian.org/stable/perl/perl-tk
http://packages.debian.org/changelogs/pool/main/p/perl-tk/perl-tk_800.025-2/perl-tk.copyright

Hi,
I'm evaluating the project you submitted for approval in Savannah.

At first, can you please point me to the homepage of "tk, bindings"? (or directly to their licenses :))

At second, please include a (perhaps temporary) URL pointing to the source code.
The description you gave when registering will not be read by the general public.
If you are still concerned with privacy, however, you can forward the code to me by email.

We wish to review your source code, even if it is not functional, to catch potential legal issues early.

For example, to release your program properly under the GPL you must include a copyright notice and
permission-to-copy statements at the beginning of every file of source code. This is explained in
http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-howto.html. Our review would help catch potential omissions such as these.

A new project has been registered at Savannah
The project account will remain inactive until a site admin approve or discard the registration.

######### REGISTRATION ADMINISTRATION #########

While this item will be useful to track the registration process, approving or discarding the registration must be done using the specific "Group Administration" page, accessible only to site administrators, effectively logged as site administrators (superuser):

 <https://savannah.gnu.org/admin/groupedit.php?group_id=8137>

######### REGISTRATION DETAILS #########

Full Name:
----------
 texdoc-gui

System Group Name:
-----------------
 texdocgui

Type:
-----
 non-GNU software & documentation

License:
--------
GNU General Public License V2 or later

Description:
------------
the tetex distribution has a documentation utility called texdoc and a corresponding tk gui called texdoctk.

I have implemented a GTK+ GUI for this using the perl-gtk bindings. To do so, i had to refactor a lot of the original code resulting in a texdoc.pm perl module and two pure-gui tools called texdoctk and gtexdoc (for gtk+). Other GUIS are now also possible (e.g. Qt).

I am in contact with the original author of texdoctk and we are looking for a project home.

Other Software Required:
------------------------
 perl, gtk+, tk, bindings, tetex
