Hello Sebastian,

I have updated the FSF address, replaced Linux with GNU/Linux and
added a README with license to the pixmaps directory. An updated
version from my private CVS is available from:

http://www.xs4all.nl/~pa4tu/tmp/happydigger-cvs20051103.tar.gz

Below is the technical description of happydigger:
--------------------------------------------------------------
Happydigger is a program which you can be used for cataloging
archaeological finds. It is intended both for semi-professional
use and by amateurs (e.g. metal detectorists) who want to keep
track of their finds.

Data is stored into a database with extensive find and findspot
details. If images are available, they will be displayed together
with the find information. Additional tables can be created for
storing information.

The program is navigated by clicking buttons on a toolbar or
by using shortcut keys.

Happydigger is written in C and requires version 2 of GTK+ and
associated libraries, see http://www.gtk.org. Version 3 of the
sqlite database libraries are needed, see http://www.sqlite.org.
To compile from source you will need a suitable C compiler and
the development libraries and headers of the GTK+ and sqlite.

Hi,
I'm evaluating the project you submitted for approval in Savannah.

At first, we need a detailed technical description that specifies such requirements as programming languages and external libraries.
It should be at least one-half a page.

At second, "Linux" is just a kernel of a more complex system that we like to refer to
as GNU/Linux, to emphasize the ideals of the Free Software movement.

Would you mind changing references to Linux as an OS to GNU/Linux?

For more information, see http://www.gnu.org/gnu/linux-and-gnu.html .

At third, for the binary files (such as .png) please insert in their directory a README file and write there the copyright/license notices down.

And at last, the address of the FSF has changed, and is now:

51 Franklin Street, Fifth Floor, Boston, MA  02110-1301  USA

Please update your license notices.

Updates versions of the GPL, LGPL and GFDL can also be found at:
http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl.txt
http://www.gnu.org/licenses/lgpl.txt
http://www.gnu.org/licenses/fdl.txt

Please update the copy of the license (usually, the 'COPYING' file) in your package as well.

You can find some background and a possible migration script at https://savannah.gnu.org/forum/forum.php?forum_id=3766
