Hello.

The GNU GPL FAQ section "Are there translations of the GPL into other languages?" http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-faq.html#GPLTranslations says:

"An unapproved translation has no legal force, and it should say so explicitly. It should be marked as follows:

    This translation of the GPL is informal, and not officially approved
    by the Free Software Foundation as valid. To be completely sure of
    what is permitted, refer to the original GPL (in English).

But the unapproved translation can serve as a hint for how to understand the English GPL. For many users, that is sufficient.

However, businesses using GNU software in commercial activity, and people doing public ftp distribution, should need to check the real English GPL to make sure of what it permits."

Hope that helps.
Nevertheless I have approved your project. You will receive an automated e-mail containing detailed information about the approval.

Regards.

Oh, as you can see, I included the full version of license in documentation HTML-files.

I have a question, can I make this?:
Include the copyright notice after the titlepage (in english linking to the COPYING file), but below include a russian translation of the license (http://www.infolex.narod.ru/gpl_gnu/gfdlrus.html). Of course with a notice that it has no power of law and the main one is the original english version.

Hello.

all *.css are under GPL.
doc/*.html - under FDL.

See the attachment.

Hello.

At first, you should add license and copyright notices into your .css and Makefile(s), too.

At second, in order to release your documentation (doc/*) properly and unambiguously under the FDL,
please place copyright notices and permission-to-copy statements after the title page of each work.

In addition, if you haven't already, please add a copy of the FDL
(available from http://www.gnu.org/licenses/fdl.html in various formats)
as a section of your works , and as plain text in a file named 'COPYING' (http://www.gnu.org/licenses/fdl.txt).

For more information, see http://www.gnu.org/licenses/fdl.html#SEC4

http://www.gnu.org/licenses/fdl-howto.html also covers additional points,
including a smaller notice that you can use in auxiliary files.

Hello and sorry for the delay.

No, please solve the "problems" mentioned in previous mail(s) and then we will review your project again.

Hello.

At first, please include a copy of the plain text version of the GPL, available from http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl.txt, into a file named "COPYING".

For more information, see http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-howto.html.

At second, you added the license notices, but did not add appropriate copyright notices.

Please check http://www.gnu.org/prep/maintain/html_node/Copyright-Notices.html
for more information, and update your files.

As I said before, there is no any working source, only base classes definitions.
But if you want, there it is:

Hi,
I'm evaluating the project you submitted for approval in Savannah.

At first, under which license did your released your project?
We have got a contrast.
"License: Modified BSD License" vs. " * Licensed under GPL ;)"

At second, in order to release your project properly and unambiguously under the GPL,
please place copyright notices and permission-to-copy statements at the beginning of every file of source code.

In addition, if you haven't already, please include a copy of the plain text version of the GPL,
available from http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl.txt, into a file named "COPYING".

For more information, see http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-howto.html.

The GPL FAQ explains why these procedures must be followed.
To learn why a copy of the GPL must be included with every copy of the code, for example,
see http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-faq.html#WhyMustIInclude.

At third, your project lack a COPYING file, please add one.

At fourth, some of your files has got a GPL incomplete header. Please add full permission-to-copy statements at the beginning of each file of source code, too.

At fifth, note that Savannah supports projects of the Free Software movement, not projects of the Open Source movement.

We are careful about ethical issues and insist on producing software that is not dependent on proprietary software.

While Open Source as defined by its founders means something pretty close to Free Software, it's frequently
misunderstood.
For more information, please see http://www.gnu.org/philosophy/free-software-for-freedom.html.

Full Name:

System Group Name:

  wdt

Type:
-----
  non-GNU software & documentation

License:

  Modified BSD License

Description:
------------
    Web Documentation Typesetter (WDT for short) is a program for formatting documents for publication in web sites. It is more suitable for writing articles about programming.
  wdt's syntax is something like a hybrid of GNU Troff and that used in Wikis.

  Main concepts:
    * Syntax highlighting of source code;
    * Converting from LaTeX and DocBook to wdt;
    * Fully configurable presentation of output files (using macros);
    * Licensed under GPL ;)
    * Small size, speed, portability.

  Well, there is a lot of ideas, which we'll try to implement.

  Because the project just started, there is no working source code for now (well, there are only a classes definitions, i.e. header files and empty functions implementations).

  Technical aspects:
    * Written in C++
    * GNU Flex and Bison used
    * Support for macro files
    * Scripting in documents (e.g. if-then-else structures)
    * Valid XHTML or HTML in output.

  Well, nothing more to say.

Other Software Required:
------------------------
  flex, bison, highlight (http://ftp.debian.org/debian/pool/main/h/highlight/highlight_2.4.2.orig.tar.gz)
