Hi,

We did not get a response from you, so we deleted your project from
the pending queue.

If you would still like to have your project hosted at Savannah,
please register it again.

The re-registration URL found in our acknowledgment of your earlier
registration will direct you to the proper location where you can
re-register your project.

Regards,

Jonathan Gonzalez V. <zeus>

Hi,

I am waiting for an answer from you.

If within one week I still do not get a reply, I will remove your
project. You will still be able to register it again once you have the
time to deal with the registration issues.

Regards,

Jonathan Gonzalez V. <zeus>

Hi Thomas,

I'm evaluating the project you submitted for approval in Savannah.

As I see you do not have sourcode to show, it is that true? In this
case we have a process to approve projects without source code, with
this process we check your CVS in a month (more or less) looking for
any kind of problem. Are you agree with this process?

Regards,

Jonathan Gonzalez V. <zeus>

Description:
------------
This project should make the development of my Internet-Draft public available. The draft is
http://www.ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-otto-eap-skl-00.txt

Wireless LAN according to IEEE 802.11i makes use of IEEE 802.1x, which in turn uses EAP as carrier for arbitrary authentication messages. These protocols are referred to as 'EAP methods'. My draft describes a new EAP method, namely EAP-SKL. This EAP method is very lightweight and could serve as a replacement for the deprecated EAP-MD5.

Other Software Required:
------------------------
If the specification is mature enough, I would like to implement EAP-SKL
in wpa_supplicant (for the client device) and in freeradius (as AAA server). Currently, my goal is to finish the specification.

Other Comments:
---------------
Sourceforge has rejected this project, without giving a precise reason. They do not have to host every project, that I am aware of. I can not follow the decision process which led to this. What this project deals with, is the development of a new protocol.
