1. the license is changed to GPL v3;
2. the information files are populated;
3. one small change is made to exit elegantly;
4. one sample of configuration file "$HOME/.serlogger" is provided as "serlogger/sample.serlogger";

Hello,

I found a small glitch. The majority of the source files say they are under GPLv2+, but the COPYING file is about GPLv3.

So you should either replace the copying or, better, bring all concerned sources to the current version 3 (or any later).

The COPYING.LIB can go to the main directory.

We can approve your projects when these changes are made.

a flexible serial logging tool, runs on GNU/Linux, which can be useful for embedded system development.
1. it can add additional timestamp at the beginning of each line for timing analysis;
2. also capable of masking non-printable characters;
3. various start/stop conditions, users don't need to save everything, it's a heavy burden to find out which part is valuable;
4. idle printings which indicates time is going and everything is alive.
