Hi,

it is mandatory for source code files to include copyright&license notices.

But as the glyphs are data files you can either put add one in every file or you do as follows:
Write a small README which says something like "All glyph files in this directory are copyright NAME DATE and licensed under xyz."
Such a file should go in every directory containing data files.

As this is only a simple thing to do, I activate your account now and trust you to put it in before you upload your project.

Good luck with your project.

Registration Details

  • Name: Frunge
  • System Name:  frunge
  • Type: non-GNU software & documentation
  • License: GNU General Public License v3 or later (Dual licensed under GNU GPL v3 or later with Font Exception and SIL OFL.)

Description:

Frunge is a blackletter font family. The name is an abbreviation of German “FRei UNd GEbrochen” (Free And Blackletter). Because there are only few free blackletter fonts, and many proprietary ones, we want to make free, good looking, high quality, kerned, hinted and Unicode complete substitutes (in the different Blackletter styles) to them. FontForge is used to draw characters and produce fonts.

Other Software Required:

FontForge, Revised BSD License, http://fontforge.sourceforge.net/

Other Comments:

I wasn’t sure how I could include copyright notices and license headers into every single character of the font. And I was not sure if that’s needed. Perhaps you can help me there.
