Hello Charles, thanks for the submission.
Sebastian, thanks for the review.

I've approved the project and the cron jobs should complete the
setup within another couple of hours.

Happy hacking,

Hello,

all open issues are resolved now.
This project is ready for approval.

Here is the review:

---------------------------------------------------------------
Project name: qwo
Reviewed archive:
http://projects.openmoko.org/frs/download.php/419/qwo-0.3.tar.gz

Licensing:
The complete project is licensed GPL compatible. (OK)
A copy of the verbatim license is included. (OK)
All non-trivial source files bear an appropriate copyright & license notice on the top. (OK)

Description:
Intelligible. (OK)

Dependencies:
Neither proprietary dependencies nor recommendations. (OK)

Terms used:
No terms contradicting the goals of the Free Software movement were found. (OK)
---------------------------------------------------------------

I recommend to approve this project.

---------------------------------------------------------------

Now you need to wait until an admin comes by and sends you the account credentials. This may take some time, because I think they are in their holidays now.

One further requests:
If the graphics will ever grow in complexity or number, please make it clear they are subject to copyright&license, too.
For example, put an extra text file in that directory, explicitly stating the copyright for these file. Something like "All files in this directory are copyright $yxz and licensed under $zyx".
Or write this directly in the comment data field of the png's.

Good luck with your project.

Hello,

I wanted to know what would the next steps be on the way to the approval. I know that the timing is not perfect as it's the end of
the year.
I also removed the aforementioned link from wab page.

In that case maybe I can just remove the link from the page. It doesn't reflect the state of the software anymore.

I will make another screencast one day and then use a free format and store it on the web space.

Hello,

is it possible to replace the link to the Flash video on
http://qwo.projects.openmoko.org/
with a video in a free format, like OGG?

If this project get's hosted on Savannah, this homepage will be somewhat associated with the Free Software movement and therefore should not seduce people into using proprietary software by any means.

The project tarball itself looks OK.

No it is not to have a backup I wish to move the project entirely.

They (OpenMoko) stopped the administration a couple month ago, last week they stopped the subversion access so I can't even commit. I think they are handing out the task to the community, but there have been to many ups and downs, I need a reliable place.

Hello,

>The software already has a home at http://projects.openmoko.org/projects/qwo/

how is this to be understood?
Is it your wish to move the project to Savannah?

Note that Savannah is not meant to be backup storage.
