Many thanks for the fast approval!

Happy hacking :-)

Hi,

I think this is enough. Normally we should wait until the group is actually listed, but apparently this process isn't known anymore at user-groups@, which in addition is handled by an overworked FSF staff.

I guess we have to rethink this part of the Savannah approval process.

Welcome (again) to Savannah :)

Hi Sylvain,

I got this replay from the -email is unavailable- people today [1]. Is that enough? We urgently need the mailing list as the current one is creating many problems and we need to get coordinated with many new members.

Thanks,
JP

Hi,
You should start by listing your group here,
http://groups.fsf.org/index.php/Main_Page so other activists near
Granada can get in touch. You may also want to contact other groups to
see how they formed, what methods of organization have been successful
and so forth.

You may also find some of the materials here,
http://www.fsf.org/resources/materials useful although most of them are
in English. If you end up translating any of the materials here, let me
know so we can post it for other Spanish speakers to use.

I'm going to send this along to our webmaster for inclusion in the GUG
and FSUG lists. The Savannah site has it's own ways of registering and
being listed, http://savannah/

Thanks for all your work to promote free software!
Cheers,
Deborah

PS If you aren't already an FSF member, you can remedy that oversight
right here, https://www.fsf.org/jf

Hi,

Our criteria to approve GUG projects is that they get approved at http://www.gnu.org/gnu/gnu-user-groups.html . Can you contact -email is unavailable- ? Let me know if there's any problem.

> Most posts in the project will be in spanish. Is that a problem?

This isn't a problem :)

A new project has been registered at Savannah
This project account will remain inactive until a site admin approves or discards the registration.

Registration Administration

While this item will be useful to track the registration process, approving or discarding the registration must be done using the specific Group Administration page, accessible only to site administrators, effectively logged as site administrators (superuser):

Registration Details

  • Name: hacklabmbra
  • System Name:  hacklambra
  • Type: GUG
  • License: Other (If we release any software or documentation later on, GFDL and GPL will be our preferred licenses.)

Description:

This project aims to create a "hackers lab" in Granada to support Free Software and GNU. We aim to be a point to contact other hackers in Granada, share, explore, hack, develop and learn. We want to promote Free Software and aid social activism in our region from the technological point of view.

Other Comments:

Hi Sylvian,

Most posts in the project will be in spanish. Is that a problem?
