Hi Alex,

Sorry for the delay in my reply too, I was in vacation and I couldn't reply as soon as I would.

Yes, I'm still planning to use Savannah. Please start the review process.

Cheers,
Francesco

Hi,

Sorry for delay.

Are you still planning to use Savannah? If not, please tell us--this will make us gain some time to review other projects.

Registration Administration

While this item will be useful to track the registration process, approving or discarding the registration must be done using the specific Group Administration page, accessible only to site administrators, effectively logged as site administrators (superuser):

Registration Details

  • Name: Filter Chains Processor
  • System Name:  fcproc
  • Type: non-GNU software & documentation
  • License: GNU General Public License v2 or later (The "site" directory contains input files for site generation (site generated using "sitetool" www.nongnu.org/sitetool).

)

Description:

Filter Chains Processor (FCP) is a small command line utility that handles parallel files transformations, automatically building filter chains in order to transform each input file from its format to the desired output format.

Each filter chain is computed dinamically, using external tools (defined by the user in a configuration file) or internal functions.

Other Software Required:

User side: C++ compiler, grep, sed

Admin side: help2man, wget, perl, flex, bison, sitetool (www.nongnu.org/sitetool)

Other Comments:

FCP will be integrated (when stable) into sitetool

FCP should be proposed as official GNU software, if/when it will reach a stable/mature condition (and will be considered really useful from the user point of view)
