Hi Tolga Dalma,

I have approved your project as non-GNU. You will receive an automated
e-mail containing detailed information about the approval. If you
would like to offer your project to the GNU project, please contact
the GNU Eval team, following the instructions at

Hello Jonathan Gonzalez,

Indeed, there were some errors in the previous release, which are now fixed: the GPL headers are corrected and the Makefactory directory has been removed (actually those files were generated from the Makefactory scripts). The new URL is http://zombies-game.org/download/zombies-0.0.2.tar.bz2.

Thanks
Tolga Dalman

ps: is there some issue with the mail system, since I do not receive the messages of this thread per e-mail ?

Hi Tolga Dalman,

You didn't provide us with a new URL to the tarball so I've download
the old once again and found these issue:

You still having files related to "makefactory", if you have a new
project for makefactory please remove these files.

The "Makefile" at the root of the tarball it's using the LGPL
copyright and license notice, please fix this.

If you make any change to the source code please, provide us with an
URL to an updated tarball or use this tracker to upload it.

To help us better keep track of your registration, please use the
tracker's web interface by following the link below. Do not reply
directly; the registration process is not driven by e-mail, and we

Hi Jonathan Gonzalez,

first of all: thanks for your quick review.

I have requested a separate project for Makefactory under LGPL. You can find more information here: http://project-psi.org/wiki/index.php/Makefactory. Would you be so kind to add this project as additional dependency to Zombies ?

The other issue with the wrong headers is now fixed.

Also, a new dependency has been added: SDL (libsdl.org, LGPL).

Regards
Tolga Dalman

Hi Tolga Dalman,

I found two issues with your source code,

First you really need to have the "makefactory" directory in your
tarball?, maybe this dependency can be keep it out. As "PSI
makefactory" project it's LGPL'ed isn't a big trouble.

On the other hand, in the "include/" directory the files are under the
LGPL, maybe you committed a mistake, please fix this or if
isn't an error please explain what it's your plan with these files.

If you make any change to the source code please, provide us with an
URL to an updated tarball or use this tracker to upload it.

To help us better keep track of your registration, please use the
tracker's web interface by following the link below. Do not reply

Hi Tolga Dalman,

I'm evaluating the project you submitted for approval in Savannah.

I try it to download the tarball that you point here:

  http://zombies-game.org/download/zombies-0.0.1.tar.bz2

But I got a not found error, can you fix this please? or use the
tracker upload it so we can review the source code.

To make the review of your project more faster remember that in order
to release your project properly and unambiguously under the GNU GPL,
please place copyright notices and permission-to-copy statements at
the beginning of every copyrightable file, usually any file more than
10 lines long.

In addition, if you haven't already, please include a copy of the
plain text version of the GPL, available from
http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl.txt, into a file named "COPYING".

For more information, see http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-howto.html.

If some of your files cannot carry such notices (e.g. binary files),
then you can add a README file in the same directory containing the
copyright and license notices. Check
http://www.gnu.org/prep/maintain/html_node/Copyright-Notices.html for
further information.

The GPL FAQ explains why these procedures must be followed.  To learn
why a copy of the GPL must be included with every copy of the code,
for example, see
http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-faq.html#WhyMustIInclude.
