Of course, not a problem and --since you have already agreed to upload files with the correct headers-- I am closing this task. Sylvain (or anyone else), please reopen if it's a mistake. Thanks!

Hi Alex,

I plan to use Savannah, but unfortunately I don't have to much free time lately. If this is not a problem I would like to keep this project in Savannah.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Romel

Hi Romel,

I am reviewing old tasks, and this one has been open for some years. Is it still useful?

Hi,

Sorry for delay.

Are you still planning to use Savannah?  If not, please tell
us--this will make us gain some time to review other projects.

Yes, sorry for that, the plan right now it's to have the first source code on a few weeks, the problem it's that, since this project is for a project administration curse, we have being studding theory and now it's time to practice.

Next week we will have a detailed plan.

I will advice on this tracker when first source code is uploaded.

Thank you.

As of 2007-11-17 no source code, but some task tracker items.

Hi,

I approved your project.

Hear from you in 2 months.

I would really appreciate if I got the Savannah services now, primarily because I plan to use task tracker feature from the very beginning of the project, as well as the mailing list. And yes I do agree with the conditions.

The first source code files should be uploaded two months from now. But sure documentation would be uploaded first including SRS and design. I have read and agree the terms of the service. So all the files, source code and documentation, will be under free licenses. GFDL for documentation and GPL3 for source code. As you stated the source files will contain appropriate copyright notice and permission-to-copy statements at the beginning.

Hi,

Your projects meets the Savannah requirements, except that we cannot review your source code yet.

We prefer to approve project with source code, so we can check it for legal issues (even non-functional code is OK). We will among others check if the source files contain appropriate copyright notice and permission-to-copy statements at the beginning of every copyrightable file. Our review helps catch potential legal issues early.

If you need Savannah right now, please explain to us why; otherwise, please resubmit the project when you have source code.

If we approve your project without source code, we will review the source code at your request, when you have some source code to show. If then the source code does not meet our requirements (for example, non-free dependencies), we will then discuss the issue and possibly remove the project from Savannah. If we don't hear from you, we may close the project for inactivity.

Do you need the Savannah services now, and if yes do you agree with the above conditions?

Regards.

Registration Administration

While this item will be useful to track the registration process, approving or discarding the registration must be done using the specific Group Administration page, accessible only to site administrators, effectively logged as site administrators (superuser):

Registration Details

  • Name: Midas
  • System Name:  midas
  • Type: non-GNU software & documentation
  • License: GNU General Public License v3 or later

Description:

Midas will be an adaptable ERP for small and medium enterprises.

Midas will offers easy adaptation to different business models.

This will be very useful on our community (Yucatan, Mexico), for business and developers, since it does not exist some software of this kind that offers:

Usability
Mexican tax law adaptation
Adaptable to common Mexican business models
Adaptable User Interface
ES_MX locale
Free software license

It could be adaptable for other countries but that depends on collaboration of developers from those countries.

This project has been approved for two courses on Project Administration for the 7th and 8th semesters of the Software Engineering career on the UADY (Universidad Autonoma de Yucatan). It has been assigned to 6 students.

We do not have yet any source code at all.

Other Software Required:

none yet

Other Comments:

We are interested on the savannah service even when we don't have source code yet, since we would like to use it to construct the SRS, the design, and then the code, and probe the utility of common free software tools on software engineering.
