Hi Arnold,

Thanks for the quick response on this one. The reason you didn't get an email on 5th of december is probably related to a problem we were experiencing.

If you want to continue with SF.net instead of Savannah that's fine.
As per your request I'm cancelling the submission now.

Regards,

Stephan

Hi Stephan,

Thank you for the reply. I am really sorry for the delay with the answer. For some reasons I have received no notification about your message on 5th of December. However I understand the reason why you reject my registration, thank you for paying attention to my project. I really want to continue with sf.net, but I have not found any public info that denies mirroring from savanna-nongnu to sf.net. As a result of all that let me cancel my request. Thank you again and sorry for disturb.

Best regards,
Arnold

Hi Arnold,

I am waiting for an answer from you.

If within one week I still do not get a reply, I will remove your project. You will still be able to register it again once you have the time to deal with the registration issues.

Are you still willing to host your project at Savannah? If not, please tell us - we don't bite, and it will make us gain time.

Regards,

Stephan

Hi Arnold,

I'm evaluating the project you submitted for approval in Savannah. While doing so I have noticed a problem which is described below.

Savannah is a central point for development, distribution and
maintenance of GNU Software.

There is a companion site savannah.nongnu.org where we also host Free
Software projects that are not part of the GNU Project, but run on
free platforms.

However, we do not allow to host your project on Savannah and
SourceForge at the same time, if Savannah is just a project mirror.
Your project development should happen primarily on Savannah.

How do you plan to use your Savannah account?

To help us better keep track of your registration, please use the tracker's web interface following the link below. Do not reply directly, the registration process is not driven by e-mail, and we will not receive such replies.

Regards,

Stephan

Registration Administration

While this item will be useful to track the registration process, approving or discarding the registration must be done using the specific "Group Administration" page, accessible only to site administrators, effectively logged as site administrators (superuser):

 <https://savannah.nongnu.org/siteadmin/groupedit.php?group_id=8929>

Registration Details

 • Name: Master Boot LoaDeR
 • System Name: mbldr
 • Type: non-GNU software & documentation
 • License: Modified BSD License

Description: mbldr is yet another boot loader which fits into first sector of an HDD (MBR). It allows to choose which partition to boot and is intended to replace an MBR coming with DOS/Windows (fdisk /mbr). It may boot OSes above 1024cyl, Linux/BSD are also supported. mbldr is based on OS Boot Select (OS-BS) by Thomas wolfRAM (see below).
mbldr is not an operating system loader. I can not boot Linux or Windows directly (thus it is not a replacement of LILO for example), but it can boot appropriate loader from a boot record of a particular partition (again LILO or GRUB for instance).
