Hi Sebunnya Robert,

We did not get a response from you, so we deleted your project from the pending queue.

If you would still like to have your project hosted at Savannah, please register it again.

The re-registration URL found in our acknowledgment of your earlier registration will direct you to the proper location where you can re-register your project.

Regards,

Stephan

Hi Sebunnya Robert,

I am waiting for an answer from you.

If within one week I still do not get a reply, I will remove your project. You will still be able to register it again once you have the time to deal with the registration issues.

Are you still willing to host your project at Savannah? If not, please tell us - we don't bite, and it will make us gain time.

Regards,

Stephan

Hi Sebunnya Robert,

I'm evaluating the project you submitted for approval in Savannah. While doing so I've noticed a problem, which is described below.

As mentioned in the registration pages, we do not host complete distros, distros isos, packages repositories, etc, for space and bandwidth reasons. We may just offer support for organisational purpose and dedicated software (such as iso creation scripts).

How do you plan to use the Savannah services?

If you plan to host such software:
Please include a (perhaps temporary) URL pointing to the source code. Alternatively, you can forward the code to me by email or attach it to this tracker.

We wish to review your source code, even if it is not functional, to catch potential legal issues early.

For example, to release your program properly under the GNU GPL you must include a copyright notice and permission-to-copy statements at the beginning of every copyrightable file, usually any file more than 10 lines long. This is explained in http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-howto.html. Our review would help catch potential omissions such as these.

Note that sending code to our repositories is a release, since the code will then be publicly available through anonymous access.

To help us better keep track of your registration, please use the tracker's web interface following the link below. Do not reply directly, the registration process is not driven by e-mail, and we will not receive such replies.

Regards,

Stephan

REGISTRATION DETAILS

Full Name:

 netkit on slax

System Group Name:
-----------------
 slax-netkit

Type:

 non-GNU software & documentation

License:

GNU General Public License V2 or later

Description:
------------
Hello to all of you.My project is about a system and network simulation software that runs off a live cd.The simulation software is freeware called netkit that is really an excellent front end to the usermode linux code.
Netkit makes the creation of linux based usermode linux virtual machines a breeze.
For the the live cd I have modified the excellent free slax basic live cd because this is much easier to remaster as compared to knoppix.
I have included the free documentation for LPI 101 and LP1 102 certification.
The project in intended as means of easily teaching linux system and network administration in regions of the world where access to network computers is not easy like East Africa where I hail from.
At the moment the project is not hosted any where because of the prohibitive bandwidth costs in these areas of the world.

Other Software Required:
------------------------
My project is a live cd distribution so it will not have any software dependencies.
