Hello and sorry for the huge delay, but there was a lot of work there for me the last weeks. :-/

I have approved your project.  You will receive an automated e-mail containing detailed information about the approval.

Regards.

Hi,

I have released a modified version
Package: http://www.antisphere.com/Tools/AntTweakBar/AntTweakBar?v
Web: http://www.antisphere.com/Wiki/tools:anttweakbar

Following your points:

1: References to Linux are changed to GNU/Linux.

2: For the library, except the standard C lib, the only dependency is OpenGL (libGL), I have forgotten to mention it.

3: Short license added (notice similar to the one found on top of the zlib source files).

4: Copyright added.

5: I prefer to maintain one zip-ball with both sources and binaries for both platforms (size of the package is not big and it saves me time to do only one package; binaries may allow users to try the library and examples without recompile it, depending on their config).

6: The GNU/Linux and Windows versions are identical. I will continue to maintain the GNU/Linux version. The windows version is not favoured.

Regards,

Philippe

Hi,
I'm evaluating the project you submitted for approval in Savannah.

At first, "Linux" is just a kernel of a more complex system that we like to refer to
as GNU/Linux, to emphasize the ideals of the Free Software movement.

Would you mind changing references to Linux as an OS to GNU/Linux?

For more information, see http://www.gnu.org/gnu/linux-and-gnu.html.

At second, does your project has got any dependence? Any included source code somewhere or some linked parts?

At third, you should include this short license on top of every file instead of point the reader to an URI.

At fourth, your files lack copyright information. For more information have a look at http://www.gnu.org/prep/maintain/html_node/Copyright-Notices.html

At fifth, is it necessary to include in your zip-ball the exe files? For a GNU/Linux (e.g.) user that's not necessary. And if you would like to distribute binary stuff in your zip-ball,too, you should write its license+copyright into a README file.

At sixth, we only host projects that can run on a free operating system (such as GNU/Linux).

We have adopted this policy because now that completely free operating systems exist, we do not want to encourage users of those systems to start using proprietary operating systems so that they can use your program.

If you are willing to maintain a version for free operating systems, which work as well as or better than other ports, you can then provide versions for non-free systems as well.
The idea is that at no point should only-free users be at a disadvantage compared to users of proprietary software.

Your project should always work equally well in free systems as in any other version you provide; if you have some modules for non-free systems, you can delay their release until you have released the free operating system version.

If you accept this commitment then please let us know.
Thank you for your understanding.

Please provide us with an updated zip-ball.
Regards,

Description:
------------
AntTweakBar is a small and easy to use C/C++ library that allows programmers to quickly add a light and intuitive GUI into graphic programs to interactively tweak them. Program variables can be linked to a graphical control that allows users to modify them. Programmers are not required to design the graphical interface by providing coordinates or by using a visual UI editor. Controls are automatically organized following an optional given hierarchy. In most cases, only one line of code is needed to add a new variable to a tweak bar.
AntTweakBar targets graphical programs that need an easy way to tweak parameters and see the result in real-time like 3D demos, light inline game editors, small 3D applications, prototypes, debug facilities of weighter graphical programs, etc.
AntTweakBar works with Linux and Windows (32 bits), and can be easily integrated with your own windowing system or with existing toolkits. Examples of integration with GLFW, SDL, GLUT are provided.
