We need an implementation of W3C XML Schema 1.0 Structures and Datatypes. This must include org.w3c.dom.TypeInfo implementations for PSVI DOM Nodes, and a JAXP validator for performing the validation against an XML Schema. The datatype implementation should be reusable with another validator e.g. RELAX NG.

Some work on parsing XML Schema files and an implementation of simple datatypes is in CVS.
