We find WHO International Classification of Health Interventions (ICHI) as the best way to code medical and environmental interventions.
ICHI complements the other WHO standards, such as the current ICD10 and the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health, that GNU Health HMIS component already includes.
This procedure coding standard could become the model for many countries.
As I mentioned at GHCon2020, We've been following the development of ICHI for the last couple of years, and the final version should be ready by the end of this year (2020), so we look forward to integrate it with GH HMIS component.
