My apologies, the URL has been moved: http://base.tague.me/~mctague/linavoid.tar.gz

Open Sans's download link is hosted separately from the website: https://www.fontsquirrel.com/fonts/open-sans

It should be noted that I have not modified this project for a while and have essentially forgotten about it since submitting this project request.

I couldn't find any download links on http://www.opensans.com/; also, mctague.mooo.com/~mctague/linavoid.tar.gz doesn't work for me.

Registration Details

  • Name: Linavoid
  • System Name:  linavoid
  • Type: non-GNU software and documentation
  • License: GNU General Public License v2 or later

Description:

Purpose:

Linavoid is a video game, purely for entertainment. It runs
in a graphical X window on GNU/linux or similar UNIX-like
systems. This game is a test of speed and reaction time,
and its simple, arcade style makes it entertaining to play
during short periods of free time.

Technical:

Linavoid is programmed in C++, using the SFML library to
provide the X window, graphics, and interactive ability of
the program. This program has the potential to be ported to
 other systems, as well.

Goals / Benefits:

Creating entertaining games for GNU/Linux is a must, as a
large portion of "gamers" currently believe that the system
is not sufficient for their entertainment. Producing small,
simple games, such as Linavoid, is a good start toward
attracting such "gamers" toward free software, and away
from proprietary solutions such as the popular "Steam"
 video game distribution application.

Other Software Required:

Licensed under a generic free software license (name of license is not noted in the program - see https://cgit.freedesktop.org/fontconfig/tree/COPYING)
