ctan is happy to host templates. there's even a dedicated directory for them -- info/templates -- although putting the package somewhere based on the subject might be better.  -email is unavailable- is happy to consult.

i think ctan might be better than savannah here, just in terms of reaching the best audience.  --best, karl.

Hi Bruno.

I did not know that the LPPL is incompatible with  the GFDL. My intention was only release the text of template as free.

My intention of host my documentation in savannah is why I see
that CTAN accept only library packages and not templates. For this reason I like to idea of host my code here.

Over this template, I seen that any of data of biospeckle analysis phenomenon was being release. I am writing a book over this theme
and I think release the biospeckle data image, and I see that is necessary a format to standardize the release of information.

Hello Fernando!

I'm the Savannah hacker in charge of this evaluation.  There are some
points about your submission I'd like to discuss with you.

- Are you really releasing your template under the GNU FDL as you
stated in the submission form?  I ask this because often LaTeX
packages are released under the LPPL, which is not compatible with
the GNU GPL, and thus we can't accept by a matter of policy.

- Do you have any particular reason to host your package on GNU
Savannah, rather than on CTAN, where TeX related packages are
  customarily hosted and distributed?

- In which way is your template generally useful to other people?

Thanks for choosing Savannah!
