Hello Timothy!

I've approved your package and soon you'll receive an automated email
with further details about the approval.

Welcome to GNU Savannah!

Ps: Thanks for making those extensive changes in order to comply with
our policies and good licensing practices.

Dear Mr Bruno Félix Rezende Ribeiro

I believe I have made the changes requested in your note.  I have removed the file configure.scan which is not needed.

An updated tarball file is available at:
http://www.gsecraif.org/download/gsecraif-alpha-05.tar.gz
(The file is too large to fit within the upload limit here).

Thank you for your help and advice with this.

Regards
Timothy Evans

Registration Details

  • Name: gsecraif
  • System Name:  gsecraif
  • Type: non-GNU software and documentation
  • License: GNU General Public License v3 or later

Description:

Gsecraif addresses two aspects of security; protecting against data loss and guarding against unauthorised access.

Gsecraif splits a file in to three or more equal sized parts (component files). Up to a maximum of 255. All files are the same size.

The utility can recover the original file even if one of the component files is lost; it uses XOR (RAID 5) technology.

None of the component files contain any data from the original file.

The utility can split any kind of file. Gsecraif is a general purpose file splitter.

Gsecraif uses no encryption.

The utility is designed to run in a unix-like environment.
