Hello Cedric

Thanks for the tip.

I use comments with messages in XML files, as you also make comments in XML view files ( like  <!-- Add here some checkboxes ! --> :-) ). But it's a good point to keep in mind.

For large blocks, I propose writing a method that keeps the original xml file intact, but parses out the comments blocks before including it at DB level (similarly to the copyright comment ). That way we still keep the relevant information for the developer, without impacting the network performance.

Anyways, let's put the focus in the context of this task, "History in Socioeconomics and lifestyle", otherwise the thread becomes cluttered.

Thanks

Why do you comment part of the XML view instead of removing?
I don't see the point and more it makes the views bigger and so less efficient when sent on the network.

There will be a separate Socioeconomic and Family functionality assessment, with the date of evaluation for better tracking.

The main fields associated to the assessment will be :

- Assessment date
- Person
- Domiciliary Unit and Housing condition level
- Occupation
- Education level
- Socioeconomic level
- Income level
- Family functionality score (Smilkstein APGAR)
- Professional who did the assessment

Current fields will be moved from the patient to the new Socioeconomic assessment model.

Iwaan has suggested to be able to create a history of the socioeconomics and lifestyle of a person, instead of just the current status of the person on these areas.

It's definitely a great thing to have, as we could check for trends on the person lifestyle.

On the other hand, we have to make sure that some key fields are always present (eg, history of unprotected sex or smoking) no matter the current status on those matters.

Thoughts are most welcome.
