Hi again,

I see that the new tarball is in much better shape. Still, there are a few issues pending:

  • You did not in fact remove h2.jar, although it is no longer an explicit dependency. Since you are just connecting via the standard JPA interface I don't think bundling it is a problem.
  • There is also a dependency on eclipselink.jar, or at least it is bundled with the project. This time eclipselink seems to be distributed under a BSD variant, so it should be no problem, but it might be good to list it as a dependency.
  • I forgot to say the first time: the tarballs you are using are called heliosbot-ID.gz, when in fact they should be heliosbot-ID.tar.gz. The extra .tar ensures that the tar utility can decompress them.

All issues seem pretty minor, so I am approving the submssion. Welcome aboard, and have fun!

I've approved your project--welcome on board! :-)

You'll receive a mail notification with further instructions shortly.

Can you post a link to the tarball like in the original submission? It makes the review task much easier. Thanks!

Dear Alex,

thank you for great point, i change them:
1. i read requirements page and after approval project, i change "open source" to "free software" because as you know i can't change it now.
2. i remove h2 database from heliosbot and any database can link to heliosbot.
3. heliosbot works fine with openjdk.
4. i am preparing a README file and will append to heiosbot.

Regards

Hi iman,

I am reviewing your submission on behalf of Savannah, sorry for the delay. There are a few issues with it:

  • You speak about "open source" in the project description, and this is directly against the [https://savannah.gnu.org/register/requirements.php hosting requirements.
  • There is an apparent incompatibility between the license of helios-bot (GPLv3) and that of h2 (EPL/MPL): neither of Eclipse or Mozilla public licenses are compatible with the GPL. It is doubtful if the connection between the software and the database is indeed linking or not, anyway, as the connection seems to be done a Java standard interface.
  • Also, you should ensure that helios-bot works fine with one of the free Java implementations such as IcedTea.
  • The package could use a README file but that is not required.

Could you upload a new tarball which solves these issues? Thanks!
