I am sorry for the delayed reply. The development is now stalled but we are planning to retake it in the future. I hope we'll be able to fix this issues in a few months when we resume the development. Thanks for your patience.

Hello.

There are still some details with licensing as of trunk revision 201:

/lib/tf/behavior/* carry Copyright notices, but no licensing
information.  For /lib/tf/parsers/configobj.py it's preferable to keep
the permissive notice (3BSD) embedded in the file, just as the GPL
notice above.  More information in
http://www.softwarefreedom.org/resources/2007/gpl-non-gpl-collaboration.html.

Is the Copyright holder referred to in some copyright notices
(TribleFlame Oy), a legal entity that can be assigned copyright?  If
not, please use the author(s)' name(s) instead.

I'm unable to find the licensing information of /doc/latex/pic/* and
/lib/tf/gfx/widget/*.png.  Please add this information in a README
file.  /data/README do state the license but missed the Copyright
holder(s).  Could you please add the names of the Copyright holder(s)
too?.  A proper example of README can be find in
http://git.savannah.gnu.org/cgit/emacs.git/plain/etc/images/README.

- From [2]: Creative Commons publishes many licenses which are very
different.  Therefore, to say that a work is under a "Creative Commons
license" is to leave the principal questions about the work's
licensing unanswered.

Please use the name of the specific license (For instance: "Creative
Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported") and possibly include a
plain text copy of that license (See below).  I'm talking about
/data/README, but please also replace references elsewhere, if any.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Please bear in mind proper software licensing is necessary to take
full advantage of free software.  Unfortunately, we don't have a
universally recognized right to exercise the essential freedoms for
software [1], we need permissions which are specific to a work,
usually given as a free software license [2].  We want to encourage
good licensing practices to ensure the user will know his rights and
will be able to really exercise them.
The issues should be fixed now in BZR. Please, tell me if it is ok. If so, I will release a new tarball with the latest trunk.
Hi Juan Pedro,
I am reviewing open tasks, and in your last submitted tarball I see that you still have not included licensing information in the README. There should be one line per binary file stating file name, author and license. Also, some other files lack the header, such as doc/credits/credits.txt.
Are these changes already made in the Bazaar repository? I see that you have not yet made any releases and I cannot browse the repo, so I cannot check it easily. Thanks!
Alex.
Hi Juan.
Please excuse the long delay.
In order to release your project properly and unambiguously under the
GNU GPL, please place copyright notices and permission-to-copy
statements at the beginning of every copyrightable file, usually any
file more than 10 lines long.
In addition, if you haven't already, please include a copy of the
plain text version of the GPL, available from
http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl.txt, into a file named "COPYING".
For more information, see http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-howto.html.
If some of your files cannot carry such notices (e.g. binary files),
then you can add a README file in the same directory containing the
copyright and license notices. Check
http://www.gnu.org/prep/maintain/html_node/Copyright-Notices.html for
further information.  Remember the README file must state both license
& copyright information
The GPL FAQ explains why these procedures must be followed.  To learn
why a copy of the GPL must be included with every copy of the code,
for example, see
http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-faq.html#WhyMustIInclude.
At your option we can continue the registration process in the (D)VCS
repository of your choise.  This means I would approve the project
just now provided you agree to fix any remaining or further issue (If
any) as soon as possible.
I will close this task when I can check all is ok but please bear in
mind you must follow the hosting requirements as long as you do use
GNU Savannah.
Note: I found the follwing header in some files:
  This software is in development and the distribution terms have not
  been decided yet. Therefore, its distribution outside the JAGSAT
  project team or the Project Course evalautors in Abo Akademy is
  completly forbidden without explicit permission of their authors.
I guess this is a mistrake because you selected GPLv3+ in License
field when you did submit the project, please change this header to
the GPLv3+ header (See above) or any other free software,
GPL-compatible license because we don't allow propietary software to
be hosted at GNU Savavannah, and this is a propietary license notice.
Please fix this issues and provide a updated tarball.  You can ethier
attach it to the tracker or use an external hosting and provide a
direct download URL.
Regards
Ok no prob. It doesn't work as an attachment --probably because the file is quite big-- so I just uploaded it here:
Hi.
I'm evaluating the project you submitted for approval in GNU Savannah.
You can reach the rest Savannah hackers (Staff) in this list:
http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/savannah-hackers-public.
Seems like the uploading didn't work.  Try
https://savannah.gnu.org/task/index.php?10428#attached.  We wish to
review the tarball to catch legal issues early among other things.
