Bruce, you need to write -unavailable- if you want manual intervention. Only the FSF sysadmins have access to the ftp server, not savannah volunteers.

(maybe it would work to use --replace to replace the existing .gz's? just a wild guess. no idea why --delete wouldn't work, can't debug at a distance ...)

The sharutils-4.13.3.tar.gz.* files are all nonsense. I can't seem to get gnupload.sh to remove them, either. I tried to release sharutils yesterday. It put up that mutilated stuff for *.gz and refused the .xz upload. Today, I got that uploaded, but I cannot seem to be able to fix the .gz stuff. Thank you!
