Excellent. I have deleted the old branch. Thanks for the help.

Ok, changed that branch to master.

Your old master is in master-old, do you want it deleted?

I've push a new-master branch. That is the proper master.

All the settings on the server appear to be correct. I think it may be best to just to start a new branch and I'll switch it to the master branch.

Hmmm, same as before. Both

git push -f origin master

and

git push -f origin :master

give the same error messages.

It still doesn't seem to be working.

git push -f origin master

gives me

remote: error: denying non-fast-forward refs/heads/master

and

git push origin :master

gives me

remote: error: By default, deleting the current branch is denied, because the next
remote: error: 'git clone' won't result in any file checked out, causing confusion.
remote: error:
remote: error: You can set 'receive.denyDeleteCurrent' configuration variable to
remote: error: 'warn' or 'ignore' in the remote repository to allow deleting the
remote: error: current branch, with or without a warning message.
remote: error:
remote: error: To squelch this message, you can set it to 'refuse'.
remote: error: refusing to delete the current branch: refs/heads/master

Done.

After you fix your repository please write back so I can turn denyNonFastforwards back to true.

Can I get non-fastforward pushes enabled on the fastcgipp repository? I made some bad pushes and would really like to get rid of them. I am aware of the consequences but would like to sort this sooner than later.

Thanks.
