Hey,

I wish to execute directories under bash. Actually if you want to go to a directory you need to execute the builtin command "cd". Why can we juste execute a directory.
Example:
polaris:~# /etc/
polaris:/etc# ../usr/
polaris:/usr#

You can find attached patch example for execute_cmd.c (made from bash 3.1-5 sources from debian/sid package).
