X Session = my GUI running with applications, you can have more than 1 XServer running at the same time.  This is NOT virtual desktop, I am starting 2 XServer, one in console TTY7 and another in console TTY8.

I am not using Xnee records.  It is playing of an Xnee script I recorded earlier.

I want to be able to run an Xnee script in TTY8 where an XServer is running (of course) and be able to do other things at the same time in console TTY7 in my other XServer.

It do works when I start playing the script in TTY8 but if I go to TT7, the Xnee script stops.  If I go back in TTY8, the Xnee script will continue where I left it.

I really don't think it is a bug, maybe it's a limit of the X Server or a new feature that Xnee could get.  But if you really want to take it in the bug-list, that is fine with me, what do you think ?

Thanks!

First of all, sorry I missed this question :(

"X session", do you mean a couple of programs running on one display (display as in X11 terminology)? I assume that.

Xnee records one display only. So if you switch to another "X session" (than the one you record) nothing will be recorded since you do not do anything in the "old session".

... errrrh. Post on the bug-list anyway????

I used an X session (0) then I start another one (1) then I start an xnee script in session 1, I go back to session 0 with CTRL-ALT-F7 and the xnee script just stop but can continue if I go back to session 1 with CTRL-ALT-F8.

I don't think it's a bug, so I am posting this in support request, any idea/hint/tricks on how I can make the script continue even if I switch my X session ?
