Savane only supports a retricted set of languages, and falls back to english. There's currently no support for separately supporting dates when there isn't a matching locale.

Would you mind submitting a bug at project Savane ( about this? This isn't specific to the Savannah platform itself :)

According to sr #103084, savannah should print dates in a localized form if the browser is set to request pages with a certain locale.

My browser is set to query for sv_SE, but the dates are definitly not YYYY-MM-DD. So it obviously doesn't work.

Why not print dates in a clear form? By running "date +%x", I learnt the english language alone has at least seven official prefered ways of writing dates.

16/10/05 (en_IE, en_AU, en_NZ, en_GB, en_CA)
10/16/2005 (en_US)
16/10/2005 (en_BW, en_ZW, en_ZA)
Sunday 16 October 2005 (en_IN, en_SG)
Sunday, 16 October, 2005 (en_PH)
Sunday, October 16, 2005 (en_HK)
2005-10-16 (en_DK)

Please make the webpages in the default locale use on of the long date formats.
