Thank you!

I only see one minor issue: COPYING is not the canonical text of the GPLv3: at the very least, it is re-wrapped, and some texts are added on top of it.  Please use https://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-3.0.txt.

Hi!

follow instructions give in task #109551 :

+ fixed the program license header statement:
    - now it's GPLv3+
    - it's standarized, don't relay in external authors file
anymore, etc.
    - done in all source code files, included xml files and makefiles
+ fixed the readme file:
    - added new license statement
    - added images license
    - added copyright
    - Did I say Linux???? I meant GNU/Linux of course.
+ removed no source code data
    - no executables
    - no emacs auto-backup files anymore
    - no AUTHORS file
    - no python code
+ about images
    - now are licensed udner compatible CC-BY-3.0
    - CC-BY-3.0-COPYING license text is well formatted

[...]

the commits I think are clear enough

is it ok now?
thanks!

Hi Alfred!

well, I attacked nobody (it was not, at least my intention) I know nothing obviously of Ineiev's private life. And I wasn't accusing him of anything.

What I tried to point is the no sense of this kind of behavior.

Of course, if Ineiev feels bad with my comment I apologize immediately.

Well, I think as administrators you have lot of work doing your staff, as project administrators have also lot of work doing our staff.
So what I think with the information I have:
- an administrator open an Issue, obviously because he found something wrong
- why not telling me exactly what's wrong?
- you don't want, you have no time? It's ok, I'll check all license notices, and I'll double check the savannah guidelines.
But obviously not now, nor this week, neither this month.

Obviously I feel after opening this issue under some kind of personal revenge or punishment from an angry all powerful site administrator.
Some kind of "do your homeworks or out of here!"
we want Free Software work well? let's help each others and make life easier and nicer.

The additions would have served well if you never made them, attacking someone in this manner is utterly unacceptable.  No matter how frustrated you might be.

The license notice for the files in this project do not follow the recommend format, you should already be familiar with how they look.  If not, please read https://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-howto.html how to exactly apply the
license to your project.  You should have read

as well.

There might be more issues, please go through the guidelines and see that things look well.

No they don't, I'll explain better if you don't understand

> 1. I have time, but not for doing this kind of broad and vague summaries

I'm not going to make an evaluation and a summary. I've not seen it before in GNU Savannah administration, I think is a broad and vague task, I have no time, etc.

> I don't refuse, I'm happy and proud of following GNU Savannah guidelines.

I added afterwards:

You know something is wrong, tell me exactly what's wrong and I'll glady fix it.

-----
What I don't know is what's the point to do all this?
It's your ego? Are you hurt? Have you got any personal problem?

I'm really very worried as the GNU image and internal functioning is affected.

Me and my surrounding team pay FSF quotas to maintain this infrastructure, I believe in FSF and GNU, I say clearly I collaborate, but need more info.

Simply

I believe one contradicts to the other. Savannah requirements are broader than what I said in this support request.

Hi Ineiev!

1. I have time, but not for doing this kind of broad and vague summaries

2. I agree

3. Ok! we are centering the task, could you be kind enough to tell exactly where?

I don't refuse, I'm happy and proud of following GNU Savannah guidelines. You are saying thinks I've not said and I think you are not assuming good faith.

You know something is wrong, tell me exactly what's wrong and I'll glady fix it.

easy

Hello, Joa!

1. If you have no time to meet Savannah requirements, you shouldn't host your projects here.

2. It isn't Savannah evaluators' business to premanently assure that packages they approve follow our guidelines, it's a responsibility of package maintainers.

3. Of course, I wouldn't submit this task if I didn't find violations. For example, some files lack copyright and license notices.

If you refuse to fix these issues, we may end up disabling this project.

Hi Ineiev!

no, and I'm not too motivated to achieve this:

1- I've no time to check and summarize work, I think it's a too broad task for a need I have not. And life needs time for family, work, militancy...

2- Project was already summarized by a partner of GNU Savannah, there is a public submission task also. I think this work has been already done.

3- If you find something wrong, not so broad but centered in files and lines I'll be of course glad to achieve the GNU Savannah aims.

happy hacking
Joa

Carefully read Savannah hosting requirements. Evaluate Maimonides against them. Summarize the work done and the results for each criterion.
