Hi. I'm just responding because no one else has yet. Assaf set this up but he is currently in the process of moving and will likely be too busy to respond for a while.

I personally don't know anything about hgweb. But if you would like to look into it then here is a pointer to the hgweb project documentation.

I don't see any mention of markdown in the upstream docs. But if you would like to suggest something then perhaps it could be implemented.

In at least hgweb the syntax highlighting for *.md files is something else than Markdown:

Probably nobody would complain if this is set to Markdown (there are, for instance, no Modula-2 projects). Can the syntax for *.md files easily be changed to Markdown (possibly mixed with highlighting for YAML and LaTeX for relevant code parts)?
