Sorry for the delay in responding. Recent urgent Savannah issues consumed all of my volunteer time this last week. Apologies.

The zeripath account has an email address that is a valid one but an unusual one. Did you try to make up an email address that would be invalid? It isn't the one you posted with here. If so then you accidentally picked one that was a valid domain elsewhere.

Since the account isn't a member of any group, has no history, and was deleted, the level of verification isn't as high for it. For verification please give me either the email address you used (if you tell me the address I know it is you) or an approximate date when you created the account. Was it A) last year? B) This year? C) Last month? D) This month? Let me know and I will reset your email address to your current email and then you can get the recovery email.

Apologies again for the delay.

Hi Bob,

Thanks for your help yesterday but I can't seem to login with my password and the resets are not coming back to my email address.

The mailing lists aren't really appropriate for commenting on a bug and/or updating your suggested patches. So I'm sort of stuck with using the bug-tracker. If I still can't comment on the ticket using an account I'll starting bugging them on IRC.

You are not a member of any group. Do you need to be a group member to comment on a ticket? It is probably an anti-spam policy of the group. I actually don't know.

The mailing lists are probably your best option. The mailing lists are open and anyone may post to them.

I undeleted the account. You should be able to log back into the account. If not then please use the lost password recovery process. It will send an email to the email address on file for that account. Then you can set your real name.

What is your now deleted account name?

Hi, I was having difficulty earlier in the week with commenting on bugs on the octave forum but was forever getting a "no group" error. So I thought I would delete my account to see if this would make the problem go away.

I wonder if I could please have my account restored so I can keep my username?
