Hi!

This support tracker is dedicated to problems with Savannah (a free software hosting service), so I don't think it's a right place to ask about avrdude.

You should try to find help at avrdude mailing list:
https://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/avr-chat

I'm closing this item.

I've been trying to use avrdude to program my ATtiny167 using the USB avrispmkII but avrdude cannot find the matching device.
I have copied into avrdude.conf the attiny167.conf
and my commandline is: avrdude -c avrispmkII -p t167 -P usb:00020014098 -v

I have been using ATmelStudio V6 to download with eclipse and WinAVR-20100110 to develop. ATmelStudio V6 also installed Jungo avrisp mkII and winDriver on my Win7 SP1 32bit system

any suggestions as to what I doing wrong?

ed.
