Done.  I have set up git-multimail for gnokii sending all emails to gnokii-commit.

Note that git-multimail sends one message for every reference change and one email for every commit.  Meaning that a single commit and push generates two messages.  A string of twenty commits and push generates twenty one messages.  So for single commits and push it may seem like it is generating too much mail.  But for longer chains it feels just right.  Here is an example of the behavior I am talking about in operation.

With that I am going to close the ticket.  Yay!  Please let us know if you want any changes.

Yes, git_multimail would be fine.
We don't need a custom configuration, it should just send emails to -email is unavailable- like the current script does.

Thank you.

Reviewing aging tickets I find this one.  Would you like to change your project commit emails over to using the git_multimail?

Yes, it still an issue.
See for example the latest email, dated 26th December 2011, which is referencing 2 commits:

Hi,

Is this still an issue?

When a commit email contains more than one commit, the information about the first commit is repeated many times.

See for examples this email with 5 different commits where the same diff is repeated 5 times instead of 5 different diffs
http://lists.nongnu.org/archive/html/gnokii-commit/2011-01/msg00040.html
The diffs are fine when looked from the web interface.
