Hi Felix,

I used "GRUB" as project name but now I changed it to "GNU GRUB" it should work. I'm in the channel to see how it works =)

Greets,

What project name did you use in the script?
I added now "GNU GRUB" on the CIA website and the bot joined, but the commit I did a few minutes later wasn't announced.

Hi,

I just installed the ciabot_svn.py which as I read it use XML-RPC it should work by now.

Inviting CIA in a channel must be done by you - Savannah only sends notifications to CIA, it does not operate the bot.

Zeus: check if you can enable the XML-RPC support instead of the mail support, it's more reliable and responsive.

Hi Robert,

As I see the script that I installed it's just to send a commit mail to the CIA server the part of a bot that enter the channel should be another part, I think, maybe I'm wrong because I've never used CIA for a project.

There's a way to check that the commit mails are being received in the CIA server?

Hi Robert,

I installed http://cia.vc/clients/svn/ciabot_svn.sh to provide the cia support, can you tell me if everything works as it should?

Regards,

According to the CIA page, Gna! has builtin support for it.
Maybe you could ask them how they did it and include it directly into Savane?

Please could you register GRUB SVN with CIA?  We'd like to receive notifications in irc://irc.gnu.org/#grub

AFAICT I can't set this up myself. http://cia.vc/doc/clients/ has further instructions on how to make SVN interact with CIA.

Thanks!
