If you're still interested, please let us know if the current version of MIT Scheme is still failing.  On the Core 2 Duo, this is probably fixed by 64-bit support if nothing else.

i installed latest release of MIT Scheme.When i try to run it it gives error "Requested allocation is too large.Try again with smaller argument to --heap".

I changed the arguments of heap but it didn't work and gave the same error.

The previous version 7.7.1 had little similar problem. Means i was able to run scheme, but edwin won't run.

I'm using Core 2 Duo with 2 GB RAM
