So currently, we can use listhelper and wait for the new mail system.

Karl pushed defining respond_to_post_requests=no in the Savannah mailing lists creation.

FWIW, I definitely think/agree that respond_to_post_requests should be "no" by default.

As for listhelper, it's ok with me to use it by default.  Seems like it could only help.  It seems the integrated system being implemented by GNU sysadmin is not imminent.

Thanks,
Karl

Our lists.gnu.org was blacklisted again,
and maybe some changes to the defaults could help in the future.

It seems to me that setting respond_to_post_requests=no by default would help, together with admin_immed_notify=yes.

Some of the GNU projects have listhelper at gnu dot org as a moderator, which helps a lot dealing with spam.
This has proven to work well in practice, reducing the amount of handwork required to deal with spam sensibly.
Maybe it could be made a default?

Thanks,

Claudio
