Ignore the previous comment, I put it on the wrong bug.

I don't know which links in the manual you were thinking of, but I have gone through the entire Autoconf source tree (except for old ChangeLog and NEWS entries and files not maintained by us), found all of the URLs, and verified that they still work or else replaced them with links that do.

In

http://www.gnu.org/manual/autoconf-2.52/html_mono/autoconf.html

some of these following links seem to be out-of-date:

See the
\title\{http://www.gnu.org/software/autoconf/autoconf.html,
Autoconf web page} for up-to-date information, details
on the mailing lists, pointers to a list of known bugs,
etc.

Mail suggestions to the Autoconf mailing list.

Bug reports should be preferably submitted to the
\title\{http://sources.redhat.com/cgi-bin/gnatsweb.pl?database=autoconf,
Autoconf Gnats database}, or sent to the Autoconf Bugs
mailing list. If possible, first check that your bug is
not already solved in current development versions, and
that it has not been reported yet. Be sure to include
all the needed information and a short `configure.ac'
that demonstrates the problem.

Autoconf's development tree is accessible via CVS; see
the Autoconf web page for details. There is also a
CVSweb interface to the Autoconf development tree.
Patches relative to the current CVS version can be sent
for review to the Autoconf Patches mailing list.
