Moving to Gna.org

I am in the process of moving Xmldoom over to Gna.org.  This should have been a quicker process but I got caught up on configuring my GNU Arch archive just so.  I am still trying to decide what to do with the CVS but I might put that on hold for a while.

For the time being, all thats really useful is that the 0.0.5 tarball is avaiable on Gna (http://download.gna.org/xmldoom/).  Check it out.

I have finally decided to set the hammer down and call it Xmldoom 0.0.5.  Unfortunately, the Savannah file manager is still down so I can't upload the release tarball.  I am working on moving the project to Gna! if they will have me.  More on that soon. [...]

Xmldoom 0.0.4 has just been released.  Expect a Windows binary for the code generator at the beginning of next week.  This release is the most stable ever and has the most clean and modular design.  The biggest new feature is the Runtime Engine which allows you to parse the XML definitions and make queries directly, without generating code. The Runtime Engine rewrite is complete.  The forthcomming version will include: unit tests, a Microsoft Windows executable, the Runtime Engine (of course) and a whole lot less bugs.  I just have to tie up a few loose ends:

  • SQL escaping code.  So that anything specified as a default in the XML file will be legal.
