Resume

I first came across Free Software while at university (IC, London) in about 1985.

I've been making the bulk of my income from consultancy and support of Free Software since 1993, when I set up my own consultancy.

In 1996, I became a Debian Developer, and have maintained packages including mgetty+sendfax, netdiag, OpenSSH, ppp, and rsync. I also own and maintain the machine that serves as http://www.uk.debian.org, and cdimage.debian.org, and am responsible for the creation of most of the Debian official CD images.

As at mid-2001 I've not really used any non-free software for over a year, with my only lapses being using Netscape about once a month for sites who's flash-happy webmasters are too much for mozilla to handle.
