Thank you very much!

I don't mind too much about removing the .+ rule, I think it's the right thing to do. I don't even remember putting it there. All I know is that everything looks "wrong" if I remove it now, as I'm used to full-time coding with it in place :)

This doesn't matter as I have a tweaked syntax file anyway to highlight some custom stuff, I'm mainly glad to get this out so others can easily find and use it (I do bump into fellow Lua-coding nano-lovers occasionally, believe it or not...).

Regards,
Matthew

Thanks again for the extra upload with the new license terms Matthew.  This was committed in r4543 and should be in nano 2.3.1.  I did have to axe the .* highlight line, because I think we should not make assumptions about terminal brightness or configuration for default text.  I hope you won't find that change too irritating.

Have an excellent weekend.

Sorry, I've been away/rather busy recently, I'll make sure to get to this tonight. Thanks!

Matthew, any chance you'd be willing to reupload with a GPL3+ license for this file?

Hi Matthew,

Thank you very much for the contribution!

One minor thing; nano is now licensed GPL 3+ rather than 2+, but the header comments for the file say 2+.  Rather than get into some odd legal area w.r.t. licensing, would you be willing to resubmit this patch saying GPL 3 or later instead in the comments?

Thanks much.

Hi,

Attached is a syntax highligter for *.lua files. I've been using it myself daily for a couple of years now, and after a few final fixes yesterday I think it's up to scratch for inclusion.

For the record the file is also tracked in a Mercurial repository at http://code.matthewwild.co.uk/nano-lua-highlighting/

Thanks,
Matthew
