This patch allows nano to find out which hilight to use not only based on extension, but also on the contents of the first line. The way it is implemented is not the best at the moment, it uses the same expression for the first line. It priorizes matches on extension, however. It takes away the need to name Perl scripts .pl to get syntax hilighting (for example) |
