Attached patch against yesterday's CVS adds a new option --findoptions to updatedb. I was looking for a way to pass -ignore_readdir_race and thought this was the nicest one.

This patch has now been included in a release of findutils which
is available at ftp://alpha.gnu.org/gnu/findutils. Please
download it and test it - once it has been sufficiently tested it
can be uploaded to ftp.gnu.org.
