README.in no longer exists, so this particular bug is fixed, but I don't know explicitly if a2ps is now reproducible. I welcome further bug reports and patches on this subject.

The a2ps package is not reproducible. As part of reproducible-builds effort, the port should be reproducible and should not depend on build environment. The README template file has @date@ which depends on current system date and makes the build not reproducible. Please see the below url to know more about reproducible-builds project.
