If you post updated patches, I can reopen this item again.  But I am not interested in the patches, but maybe others.

This item just got closed as the patches were outdated and nobody cared for 6 years.

I don´t use the 0.1 increment but I do use 0.5 increments. Besides, on times of using scale factors to adapt to hidpi screens, a bit of more control should be a nice touch. May you be interested, I have up-to-date patches.

André

Review for Octave 6.

Sorry that it takes almost 6 years for a reply.  The GUI code has changed too much since your patches were created and personally I think font increments of 0.1 are not very useful.

Closing this item.

This is more like a feature request and to make it works it is needed to patch also qscintilla (if it is used). I filled a request on its mailing list (the patch is also provided here).

The patches are trivial and work against qscintilla 2.8.1 and octave stable branch.

Another thing I would like to correct is the handling of the cursor on octave-qscintilla editor. I like to use dark colors and it does not work well on current iteration (it is almost "invisible" with dark colors). The correct place to cope with that seems to me to be along the handling of qscintilla lexer.

It would also be useful to have a way to export and to import different "syntax color schemes".

Are there anyone working on this so that we can coordinate our efforts?

Regards,
André
