Looks OK to me. Maybe adding a couple test cases would be helpful.

I see that no maintainer is listed for the linear-algebra package. Can you add it in SVN?

The attached function kind of generalizes the A*p product (where A matrix and p vector) for the case of multidimensional arrays. I use it to avoid cells and cellfun calls.
It has minimum checks for correctness of input arguments.
It may be an interesting addition to the linear-algebra package. What do you think?
