The current approach is: x86_call_imm(inst, 0), x86_pop_reg(inst, EAX). But if possible a call to 0 should be avoided at all. The patch uses instead: x86_mov_reg_imm(inst, X86_EAX, inst, 4). Though, to note that this builds "position-dependent" code which might be not always desirable. |
