GNU Alive 2.0.1 is available. GNU Alive is a keep-alive program for internet connections. It repeatedly pings a series of user-specified hosts, thereby encouraging (one hopes) the involved networks to not disappear.

It has been in the works for quite some time, but now it's finally here!
Go grab it in the Files section, either as a tar.gz or a i386 .deb built on Debian Sarge. This time debconf is supported.

Finally, the last release of qadsl... eh, that is, the last release under the old name. Not too long ago qadsl was dubbed a GNU package and at the same time the new name was decided: GNU Alive.
So, qadsl 1.3.3 is the last release with the name qadsl.

This release of qadsl is mainly a fix to a rather nasty bug in the .conf-file parser. It was discovered while porting to CygWin and was also reported by the Mandrake .rpm maintainer.
A lot of effort has also been put into making qadsl-1.3.2 more ...

Due to the fact that the source release of 1.3.0 could not be built properly the 1.3.1 is released right on its tail.
As usual there is both a source tar.gz archive (now buildable) and a binary Debian .deb package available. The .deb is built for Sarge, the upcoming Debian GNU/Linux 3.1.

Finally, after quite some time of reorganization and code cleanups, the brand new qadsl is here.
Available in the Files section for download is both the source, qadsl-1.3.0.tar.gz and a Debian package built for Sarge/i386, qadsl_1.3.0-1_i386.deb.

The stable 1.2 release, the final release from the old maintainer, Kuba is now available from Savannah as well as http://kuba.unix.se.
Debian users might want to download the 1.2-3 patch as well.
