Some more shinny code and a lot of bug fixes are coming.
Since CVS is such a useless, braindead VCS, I single-handedly decided to migrate our repo to SVN. The old repo is still available, but at least I won't make any further commits to it; hopefully no one else will either.
If anyone is upset with this, well... Be upset all you like.
(Oh, and anyone who wonders why I didn't choose git instead, which is far superior in most (all?) ways, is that I simply don't know git well enough yet, and for the time being at least I think svn is "good enough").
Yes, it's true! A brand new tarball (or CVS-tag) is awaiting you.
Now get testing!
A lot of things are happen, though few things emerge here. Basically,
most of the changes taking place currently are done by Barry deFreese,
but since he has not yet received his clearance from the FSF on the
copyright transfer issue, his code is embargoed until this issue has
been resolved. Hence the lack of ChangeLog-updates and the slow rate
of CVS checkins. Meanwhile I've tried to fix a few bugs and checked in
fixes for them, but they have been pretty minor, since all bigger
changes I've done involve Barry's changes in one way or another.
Feel free to test. Now that the rmgroup seg-fault has been fixed,
a lot of the programs seem to work quite well.
Lots of new shiny code checked in!
I'm in the process of preparing the first real checkin of GNU sysutils now,
with several nearly feature-complete programs, as well as some other programs in various states of usability. All programs come complete with manual-pages, but Texinfo-documentation remains to be written. Feel free to contribute to the documentation, complain about the code etc.
Checkin will probably happen on Monday, maybe earlier.
