This release has no code changes since 2.12, but just a minor documentation fix and updated translations.
I’m happy to announce a minor update to 2.11. There are no code changes.
Fix a minor documentation typo.
Make tests introduced in 2.11 more portable.
I’m delighted to announce a new release of GNU hello. This version has many minor fixes and improvements made in the last eight years.
Remove -h and -v short options.
Various code tidying, including avoiding forward declarations, removing dead code, new test for multibyte strings, better use of gnulib, update to more recent gnulib and add git hooks from coreutils.
I'm delighted to announce version 2.10 of GNU hello. See below for
changes in this version.

[*] Use a .sig file to verify that the corresponding file (without the
.sig suffix) is intact. First, be sure to download both the .sig file
and the corresponding tarball. Then, run a command like this:
gpg --verify hello-2.10.tar.gz.sig
If that command fails because you don't have the required public key,
then run this command to import it:
gpg --keyserver keys.gnupg.net --recv-keys A9553245FDE9B739
and rerun the 'gpg --verify' command.
This release was bootstrapped with the following tools:
Autoconf 2.69
Automake 1.14.1
Gnulib v0.1-263-g92b60e6

Most importantly this release include the 'Hello, World' message to be
part of translations. The translation bug was introduced in release 2.9.
Other changes in this release include; Make use of none-recursive build.
Removal of user-defined new-style. Include an example how to add a
section to a manual page, such as BUGS. Rather than 'fprintf (stderr'
use libc 'error()' reporting facility. Start using 'make
update-copyright' facility. Generate ChangeLog from git commit logs.
Avoid manual page generation errors when cross-compiling.
I'm delighted to announce version 2.9 of GNU hello. See below for

* Noteworthy changes in release 2.9 (2013-10-10) [stable]
A series of patches from Sami Kerola has modernized and improved the
build system, added the possibility of user-defined new-style
greetings, and added support for Unicode.
Various translations have been updated (thanks to the Translation Project).
I'm delighted to announce version 2.8 of GNU hello. This release is my
first as maintainer; thanks to Karl Berry for inviting me to take over
from him, and then providing much useful guidance.
This release contains no significant code changes; rather, the version
increment is justified an overhaul of the build system to bring it
more in line with modern mainstream GNU practice, and in particular,
to make maximum use of the excellent gnulib. In the process I've found
and fixed many nits.
The VCS has also been updated, from CVS to git.
Finally, this release includes several new and updated translations
from the Translation Project. A big thank-you to all the translators!
GNU Hello is now using git as its VCS, to make it easier to use tools such as gnulib, and be more representative of mainstream GNU development practice.
Hi! I was delighted to accept Karl Berry's invitation to maintain hello. Stet fortuna salutationis.
Infrastructure updates, including automake bug.
