GIFT has moved to using the GIT DVCS. This move is in order to more nimbly manage the source code, during a revamp. Almost done: a shell script for image importing (with caches, and taking advantage of multiple cores!). Stay tuned!
Every night (GMT) a fresh doxygen report is generated from the latest cvs source. It can be found at http://gift.doxygen.teknowlogic.org/
Doxygen gives you a nice idea of the way the code is structured (Class inheritance: http://gift.doxygen.teknowlogic.org/classCAccessor.html). It is also possible to generate a complete reference manual, this requires the source to be properly documented though (something we still have to work on).
Doxygen will give a wider audience insight into the structure of the GIFT.
More information can be found at http://www.doxygen.org
Use the source!
A fresh stylesheet for the homepage was put online yesterday. I hope you can all live with it. The remaining bugs will be ironed out during the next few days.
I would like to update the gift homepage more frequently with fresh cool projects. A featured project could be placed prominently on the front page to excite new or current users. But we do need a fresh project once in a while then. So please keep on submitting those cool projects and use-cases.
Please send any comments, rants and suggestions to gift@monosock.org.
